Thumbs up Solution to Preferences Problem

I too spent a number of hours trying to get the OS X 10.2 native version of LimeWire to try and remember its preferences. I see that there are a whole load of folks out there with the same highly annoying problem. Here is my solution (and it works really well for me, but of course I cannot guarantee it for everyone else's setup). Boot your machine into OS 9.2, dowload and install the latest version of LimeWire. The same preferences problem will arise. Quit out of LimeWire. Find and delete its preferences files / folder. Set LimeWire going again, and from here on it will remember its preferences. Now you can quit out of LimeWire and reboot your machine into OS X 10.2 - you should now have a highly stable version of LimeWire running under Classic for which (a) you do not have to specify your preferences to every time you set it going and (b) you can leave it running overnight and it does not crash out. Good luck ...... Michael.
