Default Router Issue

I could not agree more. I also am an old Napster person. I found Xolox in it's infancy, when Napster went down. I think it was version 1.12 then. It worked flawlessly. And, there were thousands of files of all types instantly available. When Xolox shut itself off about a year ago, the crack worked just as well. Probably mostly because there were not as many searches, so access was quicker. Also, is it just me or have you noticed that there just does not seem to be as many hits as there used to be. Why??

Anyway, I digress, I also am behind a Linksys router and suffer the same crisis. If you have figured out how to safely set it up for sharing I would love to know. I tried to find out how to a couple of years ago, but finally gave up in desperation.

I am sitting on almost 30 gigs of '50's thru '99 stuff, including over 6 gigs of classic cartoons and I am not able to share any of it. I don't want to be blacklisted as a "Leech" but it is not a voluntary choice of mine to not share.
