Question it wasn't, then it was...
G4 DP 867 - 10.2.3 - two monitors - 512meg RAM

I, have been struck by the evil 'loading user interface' as well. I've tried to uninstall, reinstall, I've repaired disk persmissions... I've Drive 10'd it... to no avail.

This ain't good

And then, for some strange reason... it started workin'!!!

I can't explain it, except, maybe... the stars are aligned differently
