Hi again David.
Your situation is quite puzzling--normally Limewire will ask what folders you want to share the first time it opens after an install (no extra steps required), so I can't guess why your Limewire setup wouldn't accept the Music folder as an additional shared folder. You went to Limewire>Preferences . . .>Sharing, right, and chose the "add" button?

Hmmm, if you've done the uninstall/reinstall, maybetroubleshooting your OSX setup will make a difference. The handiest reference I found is http://www.macattorney.com/tutorial.html.

We both know it's not the heat--it's the humidity! Maybe your Mac is taking it out on Limewire!

You shouldn't have the problems you are describing. Limewire make it as easy as possible to share files: OSX, on the other hand, turns off filesharing and the firewall on by default.
