The latest version is 2.9.8 (probably another will be out soon).
If I have a corrupt file, I delete the incompletes in the Library pane, and if that doesn't help and no downloads seem to be working, I quit limewire and trash everything in the incomplete folder, including the downloads.dat file.

I haven't had a problem copying the error message, but did occasionally read of otherwith a similar note. I select all in the message, use cmd-c, and then mail it.

Did you try for a clean install, including the preference files? (I search and destroy everything "limew" --just in case).

Just a thought--keep a eye on the vendor/version of the files. I'm not seeing many corrupts, but the few I see seem to start from older clients. Incompatibility issue?
