Hello!

The red IP address means that that IP belongs to a private subnetwork behind a NAT router. If you are also behind a NAT FireWall/Router then you will not be able to communicate with that node/servent. If you however is not FireWalled then there is no such problem. When you send a request for a file to that host LW or another client at that host will give out a push request to the Router and start to initiate the download from behind the Router and send it to you.

If the Connection speed indicators (Modem,Cable,T-1,T-3) are green it means that LW is more sure that the settings that the specific servent has set in his/hers preferences are more likely to be correct information. If they are black it means that LW remains neutral in desciding the speed and if the color are red it is a very high probability that the client are lying and are in reality a slower servent as far as connection speed is concerned.
