Default Hmmm

Glad to help but there is still obviously a problem to solve. I suggest that you restart your computer in Safe Boot (by holding the shift key down during the restart routine). This will run a general file repair routine invisibly. Then repair permissions using First Aid (which you will find in Utilities). And restart your computer. If there is still something wrong with click and drag, let me know and I'll put my thinking hat on again.
