Lightbulb form network by content

I'm not a gnutella developer, but I was thinking about how limewire allows clients to filter out other clients that aren't sharing, and it occurred to me that if the same filtering could be implemented for content (adult) it could do a lot for making both music and adult content searches more efficient.

A user could set a scale determining whether they wanted to prefer nodes with more music or more adult content. This would allow the network to form in to two clusters of music and p0rn uesrs, making searches for both more efficient.

Do developers scan these ever? Does this idea have any merit?
