I have the same problem--everything works fine except the Options. When I click on Apply or Okay the button dims but the window stays open. The only way it will close is when I click Cancel or the close box.

I found it too annoying so I went back to LW 1.4 which works flawlessly. I tried everything to get 1.6 to work right with no success.

I am running OS 9.0.4, java extensions for 2.2.5, iBook 300 with 64 megs of ram.
