LW didn't throw any exceptions. It didn't list anything at all in the Library window except for my "music" folder and as a subdirectory of that, the empty "lost+found" folder.

My setup is pretty basic, with the exception of the "lost+found" directory.

Shared folder - /export/music

/export/music/band/album
/export/music/band2/album
/export/music/lost+found
...
