Rollback to Quicktime 6.3. There's a probem with Java and the Quicktime update. Apple says:

If you use any version of Mac OS X 10.2 and require QuickTime Java support for Java 1.3 or Java 1.4.1, do not upgrade to QuickTime 6.4.
If you have installed QuickTime 6.4 and need support for Java 1.3.1, you can reinstall QuickTime 6.3. A link to the QuickTime 6.3 Reinstaller is available from document 120255 "QuickTime Reinstaller 6.3 for Mac OS X: Information and Download".
