After the installer completes, do not close it... instead go to Files -> Show Log and copy what it says. If you could also open the Console (Applications -> Utilities -> Console) and record what it says during installation and when trying to open LimeWire, that'd be useful. Paste back here with the info and we can try and figure out what's happening.
