in order for you to search you must first have a connection. You might not be getting a connection because of a firewall. If so you need to open port 6346 and force your IP(tools/options/advanced/firewalls, check the box that says force IP). Some times shareing is blocked by your ISP. This may mean that you need to use a different port for LW. I hope this helps.
