Same thing here, but you can work around it. Limewire doesn't like you to do much when it is on, so use your control strip to go to other applications, like email. Just be sure that Limewire isn't the icon on the left, click your desktop and be sure the finder or another app is first, or it will quit Limewire. Sort of funny, but you can use Limewire if you're careful.

You might want to try downloading Mactella or MP3Rage, both work well enough. You'll miss the ability to search more than one song at a time, but at least you won't have to worry about it quitting on you.

Mactella pulls songs from Limewire and Bear networks, so you actually get more songs to choose from!
