Lucky you. I just downloaded and tried all releases downto LimeWire 3.2.0 and they all behave exactly the same way. I would conclude that the error is either with my Linux configuration or with my Java implementation, but it is a fact that all versions of Phex connect and disconnect without ever getting into trouble. So I do think it must be some LimeWire bug, and it seems to be around for quite some time.
