I downloaded and installed Limewire V 4.0.5 at the prompting of V. 3.8 (?)--and now I have lost ALL audio from my desktop speakers--which used to work just fine with all programs AND Limewire V 3.xxx----So what happened?

My headphones still work---the speakers don't. I have tried everything I can think of (drivers, updates, etc.) but no resolution as yet.
