T3 Is there a way that a person on a VERY fast connection can be distinguished from somebody who is NOT There are currently a lot of people out there who are playing there own little game and probably loving every minute of it !!! "So, my connection is a modem and I put down that it is a T3" .....clever stuff eh !!!????? ..... I wish I had thought of that one myself .... If I click on a T3 and see 0.5 kb/s racing towards my hard drive I think SOMEONE somewhere down the line has LIED !!!!! SORT IT OUT PLEASE .............................. Even a T3 connection has limited bandwidth... if several users share it its possible that you ONLY get 0,5 Kb! Morgwen |
Speed The reported speed of sources is becoming less and less important for estimating how long it will take to get the file. A better measure is the number of sources. FYI, BearShare reports the average throughput of completed uploads when it returns query hits, not what the user has entered. |
