I've managed to burn my first CD but I can't get it to play on any other CD players?. The other players do play recorded CDs. Am I doing something wrong or do I need to do anything else?

Generally the 2 main issues are burn speed & cd media used (oh of course it must be a cd-r & NOT a cd-rw!) Try reducing your burn speed down to the lowest it will allow you to burn at. So it takes a bit longer ... how much time have you wasted trying to sort this out! lol
I always try to use reliable cd media. Instead of picking up the cheapest I can find, I get ones I know will burn reliably & last many, many years instead of losing quality within a year or two. Yes some cheap brands will deteriorate very quickly & start to show signs of distortion & be difficult for the player to read. |
