i signed up for a 1 years membership. only they have taken nearly 3 times the amount out of my bank account. has anyone else had this sort of problem.

You have been scammed ... not by Bearshare (or limewire if you are here by mistake) but by a third party site who steal peoples money by selling a product that is quite possibly free. Cancell your payment and your card.
