Most of the time that I download a movie clip or movie mpeg etc when I try to open it it say cannot open because it has a bad file name. Is there any thing I am doing wrong/can do about this? Or is it really a bad file that will not work? Would love some help with this one. cheers for now.

Hey...
Old news here, but have you tried using The Bitzi ticket search option (high-lite the file and right clip on mouse, click on Bitzi Ticket, down at the bottom of the drop down menu), it will open a browser page that gives details about the file. Also supplies the file's valid name and sometimes will have reviews on the file quality. It also may be that your media player is not enabled or able to play that particular file.extension. -->> file.mov, file.avi, file.mpg, etc. Your might check under the options in your present program or try out another Media Player. Or ??? maybe the file has been mislabeled, try renaming the file with a different extension-->> fle.avi to file.mpg , etc. It could be bad files???... It is just that you have encounter so many it makes me doubt that is the problem. Good luck.. |

Does the error message actually say "bad file name"?
That could indicate subtler problems than merely corrupted files, such as WinXP file access control problems. |
