It says BearShare cannot run because an unnamed component is missing, and offers to reinstall it.

Ah. There it is. Looks like Zango is not in there, but the spyware in the installer
still tries to phone home several times as you install Lite. I see the history is still blanked out. What are they trying to hide? ![]() I also see a new part in the EULA where they reserve the right to force upgrades on you and deny you the right to refuse or go back to old versions. If they had been paying attention to users instead of hiding from them, they would know that the users are virtually unanimous against forced upgrading. In light of that idiocy I'd advise everybody to go to FrostWire the first time they try to force one of these involuntary upgrades on them. Every time these guys turn around they're pulling some boneheaded move guaranteed to anger the public. Are they ever going to wise up and open a dialog with us? BS Pro is owned by the same guys. Free Peers is no more after the iMesh guys
and the RIAA staged that "Lawsuit" which was actually a forced buyout. Might as well stick to the betas as long as possible then settle for FrostWire, which might be good enough in a year or two. ;] |
