Playing-back Downloaded Video Clip I double-clicked a downloaded video clip. The windows media player started. The title of the video clip displayed, the counter moved, but there is no video or sound. Help!  |
Codecs is probably what you need. We normally recommend this player: VLC - (click on link) _ (choose nearest mirror site) as it has in-built codecs & is generally very reliable. It's free. Otherwise see CODECs list and alternate players for Movies |
This might be a stupid question but does the vlc player play audio files? |
Yes it can. See what formats it can play here http://www.videolan.org/vlc/features.html It's very good for audio or video streaming. You can get extra skins for it too. |
