Bearshare compatible with itunes?????????????????????????

ok so i decided to check out bearshare and it is way better than it was like a year ago i used to have limewire and it worked fine and everything but there is one prblem that i am having with bearshare. My question is that is it compatible with itunes i have an ipod so all the music i download goes there and i can''t send the music form bearshare becuase i get an error message saying that it can't convert it but what i found oout was that i could only convert anything in bearshare that wasnt 5 stars nything else i could i am still going to use bearshare but i am wondering if could just convert the five star also

What version of BearShare is that, and were those files the .wma or .wmp type?
