I believe the facts are slightly wrong here. TM's actual words can be seen here: http://www.bearshare.net/forum/show...0&pagenumber=3, posted on November 26, 2001.

The time he posted is irrelevent since everyone sees the time according to their own time zone,

Thanx Bro, for the coaching about time zones. FYI, I use GMT as my default time setting.

I went back to TM's post, the time there (in GMT) is - 11-26-2001 04:36 AM.

Now, TM sez he gets "home around 1 a.m. to poke my head in this .... *cough* ... community for an hour or so"

If he made this post at 1AM local time, then his time zone was approx 3hrs behind GMT. Which puts him in -

a- Atlantic ocean
b- Greenland
c- Brasilia or eastern brazil.

US EST (eastern standard time) is 5 hrs behind GMT.
