Saving text in Documents using Windows 8.1

When I type a text in WORD I usually save it in my Documents folder (using Windows 8.1). However, lately the Save As button does not work unless I save on Desktop instead of in Documents. What am I doing wrong?

This problem has never happened before ! I feel lost !
