In a list of items in WORD 2016, I have two items bearing the title "C1" and "C2" which WORD lists as "C2" above the item "C1".
How to reverse this order please? I want to put "C1" above, not below "C2". Thank you beforehand. Joe Busuttil |

Are you referring to Word or Excel?
Especially when referring to a list it sounds a lot like Excel. You can copy-paste from one cell to the other. |

Many thks indeed for yr prompt reply. I am grateful for your help over a long time in Gnutella Forums.
My list is in WORD 2016, not in EXCEL; however, I have solved the problem, as suddenly it dawned on me that my list was not strictly in alphabetical order as one of the item headings that I had put down as "C1" was put in by WORD below "C2" because in "C1" I had added a couple of superfluous words to the heading "C1". When I removed the superfluous wording, the list went to the alphabetical after I hit "Sort By Name". Kind regards. Joe B. |
