program downloads and use
I am downloading a program. How do I load it and get it to work on my computer? Any advice or suggestions out there? I use xp. I'm not overly savvy on the computer so little things that should be basic are many times not etc..

It will probably be either a zip or rar compressed file so I'd suggest either winzip or winrar or stuffit expander to open them. Then double-click on the installer to install it & follow the directions of the installer & any notes that might have come with the compressed file.
