I recently tried using limewire to download some porn
(Although wish i hadnt now) and to my amazment a lot of the images were of underage material.

I was horrified when this was happening and have stopped using limewire for porn for obvious reasons but i am worried that other people may fall in to the same trap especailly with alll the names being so mis leading.

Is there anywhere i can report the problem,

Is there a way that i can clear my name

How can i prevent anything of porn material coming up in my searches.

And has anybody else had a similar problem and if so what did you do

kiddy porn is a big problem on limewire and allmoast every other p2p network. unfortunatley the network is compleatley anonymus so its impossibul to cach someone whos shairing bad stuff, plus moast people know the problem exists allredy so reporting it wouldent do much . thers no way to clear your name ....moastley because you dont have a nikname on lw ,and thers no way that some one can see what uv been downloading . if u do run into a gross photo or movie just delete it from your shared folder and that will be the end of it . if u want to filter your serches u can use keywords by going to : tools>options>filters>keywords . for this you can put in any keyword that u dont want serch results for in the box. it also works with file extentions too ,so if you dont want any picturs in ur results type in ".jpg " or ".gif" into the keyword filter box. i personaly hunt for videos usualy longer ones (more than 10 minits long) .longer videos usaly are rips from real porn tapes and dvds so theres nothing illegal about them other than being pirated. and yes ,every 1 who has used the internet at all has probobley come accross unwanted porn. just get used to it and ignor all the bad stuff and moast importantley IF YOU DO RUN INTO SOMTHING BAD DONT SHARE IT .

I am glad to see that innocent people will not get in trouble over other peoples twisted minds although i wish we didnt have to put up with these horrifying images and videos etc.

I for one would love to see all padeophiles arrested.

ok i realiz i now made a false statement . i started writing my last statment befor stiefs was even there , i diddent know i was making a mistake untill i posted it . and yes it is anonymus to some extent...the fbi riaa and hackers cant just get every pice of info they want just by looking at ur ip ,they have to log ur ip and find ur isp and then the isp can give the persons name ,phone number and address to the fbi. also the staggering number of people using the network makes it harder too. also i dont beleve i ever sed that lw was a network itself. and you dont need to be such a d!ck about it when sombody makes a mistake!
