Hi there!

Im a Limewire user DUH!! But people told me there was adware in it. I didt believe it.

But a scanner told me also there was adware in the Magnet component and some other components.

Is it adware or is the scanner just mistaking?

1. LW does not have adware.
2. Some scam versions of LW do have adware so I hope you got your LW from here: http://www.limewire.com/english/content/download.shtml
3. ad-ware, Spybot - Search & Destroy, & Peerguardian are the ones recommended as too many spykillers don't work properly as demonstated at a spyware forum & some of them even have spyware themselves. The above 3 utilities are all FREE!

But im not 100% confinced yet!

Whatever .. but if you see my 1st post in the following link, you'll find a link to a spyware forum. Actually I think you need to select the forum link from that link from memory. But they are the professionals at spywares. Apparently many spyware utilities see the magnet links of p2p softw's as being spywares. So ie: they are not designed properly. You can find out more on this forum too if you search for it.

Oh by the way, if you're using wmp version 9 then whatever spyware you're using (if not recommended) I think it will probably detect wmp as spyware. lol
