Try to make your post descriptive, specific, and clear so members can quickly and efficiently help you. To aid helpers in solving download/upload problems, LimeWire and Frostwire users must specify whether they are downloading a torrent file or a file from the Gnutella network. Members need to supply these details >>> System details - help us to help you (click on blue link) Moderators There are senior members on the forums who serve as Moderators. These volunteers keep the board organized and moving. Moderators are authorized to: (in order of increasing severity) Move posts to the correct forums. Many times, members post in the wrong forum. These off-topic posts may impede the normal operation of the forum. Edit posts. Moderators will edit posts that are offensive or break any of the House Rules. Delete posts. Posts that cannot be edited to comply with the House Rules will be deleted. Restrict members. This is one of the last punishments before a member is banned. Restrictions may include placing all new posts in a moderation queue or temporarily banning the offender. Ban members. The most severe punishment. Three or more moderators or administrators must agree to the ban for this action to occur. Banning is reserved for very severe offenses and members who, after many warnings, fail to comply with the House Rules. Banning is permanent. Bans cannot be removed by the moderators and probably won't be removed by the administration. The Rules 1. Warez, copyright violation, or any other illegal activity may NOT be linked or expressed in any form. Multiple offenses will result in consequences. File names are not required to discuss your issues. If filenames are copyright then do not belong on these forums & will be edited out or post removed. Commercial advertising is not allowed in any form, including using in signatures. 3. There will be no excessive use of profanity in any forum. 4. There will be no racial, ethnic, or gender based insults, or any other personal attacks. 5. Pictures may be attached to posts and signatures if they are not sexually explicit or offensive. Picture sample attachments in posts must not include copyright infringement. 6. Remember to post in the correct forum. Take your time to look at other threads and see where your post will go. If your post is placed in the wrong forum it will be moved by a moderator. There are specific Gnutella Client sections for LimeWire, Phex, FrostWire, BearShare, Gnucleus, Morpheus, and many more. Please choose the correct section for your problem. 7. If you see a post in the wrong forum or in violation of the House Rules, please contact a moderator via Private Message or the "Report this post to a moderator" link at the bottom of every post. Please do not respond directly to the member - a moderator will do what is required. 8. Any impersonation of a forum member in any mode of communication is strictly prohibited and will result in banning. 9. Multiple copies of the same post will not be tolerated. Post your question, comment, or complaint only once. There is no need to express yourself more than once. Duplicate posts will be deleted with little or no warning. Keep in mind a forum censor may temporarily automatically hold up your post, if you do not see your post, do not post again, it will be dealt with by a moderator within a reasonable time. Authors of multiple copies of same post may be dealt with by moderators within their discrete judgment at the time which may result in warning or infraction points, depending on severity as adjudged by the moderators online. 10. Posts should have descriptive topics. Vague titles such as "Help!", "Why?", and the like may not get enough attention to the contents. 11. Do not divulge anyone's personal information in the forum, not even your own. This includes e-mail addresses, IP addresses, age, house address, and any other distinguishing information. Don´t use eMail addresses in your nick. Reiterating, do not post your email address in posts. This is for your own protection. 12. Signatures may be used as long as they are not offensive or sexually explicit or used for commercial advertising. Commercial weblinks cannot be used under any circumstances and will result in an immediate ban. 13. Dual accounts are not allowed. Cannot explain this more simply. Attempts to set up dual accounts will most likely result in a banning of all forum accounts. 14. Video links may only be posted after you have a tally of two forum posts. Failure to show that you have read the forum rules may result in forum rules breach infraction points or warnings awarded against you which may later total up to an automatic temporary or permanent ban. | I don't think the order is relevant. Who could seriously rank bands this way? Whether I like a band - or rather their songs - more or less depends entirely on my mood, the weather and the moonphase. And many bands fvck up badly when they turn into sell-outs and I lose any respect for them when they change their style to pop sh1te. |

| im sadden by the lack of this true super group....LED ****ING ZEPPLIN!!!!!!!unless of course this thread was started by some college radio station listening to indie type and/or is totally ones OWN best band ever poll.*sigh*.and since the word''EVER'' is included in this thread,it cant be restricted to bands still touring.so 1)WITHOUT QUESTION IS LED ZEP 2)PINK FLOYD 3)love em or hate em..PEARL JAM*(their early work,after ''yield'' i gave up) 4)BLONDIE(yes im old school.im not at all impressed by what MTV AND TRL LIVE CREW are calling bands.) these next 2 are not faves of mine but respect must be paid due to their longevity..5)ROLLING STONES(dont they look as though the next cold one of them catches could mean death?) and 6)AEROSMITH(they kinda popped out didnt they....TY MTV!!!!!!YOU ****ING TALENT SAPPING,***** MAKING BEAST!!!!!!!!) 7)RED HOT CHILLY PEPPERS 8)THE BEATLES(after their''i wanna hold your hand'' and ''i love you -yeah yeah yeah''bull ****!!!!!!!!!) 9)BOB ****** AND THE *******.....raggae all kinda/sorta sound the same doesnt it?!?!?!?!?im not a fan of theirs but they were the best of that genre. and 10)PUBLIC ENEMY.....again,im no fan of rap but this is 1 band that had more to say than how many women theyre going to dog out and the money theyre making.they truly had an agenda.now if asked for MY TOP 10(GROUP AND/OR SOLOIST)here it is......1)SEAL-go on and laugh/mock but i like a band/solo artist that can change gears fluidly....want a strong non cliched ballad,check....want a dance club radio friendly hit,check...want a rock and roll song,check.SEAL can do it all.how many bands/acts can boast that?!?!? 2)MIDGE URE-yes,THAT MIDGE URE of ULTRAVOX(proabably way before anyone heres time.....the 80's)they WERE new wave and MIDGE has since gone on to do emo rock,ala REM only with a killer voice and much harder edge.he also writes and plays all instrumments. 3)THE CULT yes theyre riding on fumes now but when they were on,they were on!!!!4)BRAND NEW HEAVIES 5)MASSIVE ATTACK-PORISHEAD(i would have ranked PH ahead of MA but after PH's debut,they fell off. 6)THE FRAMES DC(absolutely no one knows of them but when i play them im asked who is this and where can i find them.....trust me 7)PAT BENETAR....not the best lyrisit but can you show me a chick with better chops??!?!?her band was/is(?) pretty tight as well. 8)SATCHEL/BRAD...different groups but same members.....i dont know why either(think of nirvana with a piano player and someone who doesnt have to scream to be heard) 9)RADIOHEAD....excluding their last 2 piles of excrement.someones head getting too big?!?!?!?!?!? and finally 10)COCTEAU TWINS...no joke.although they sang is their native irish tongue,their melodies and beats were simply beautiful.their most radio friendly cd''heaven or las vegas'' had songs sung in weird english.i can pretty much guarantee if anyone gave a listen to any of the bands stated,theyd rearrange their lists.my all time list surpercedes my faves list.thank you,drive through pls. |

| honorable mentions.....CHRIS CORNELL(and anything involving him),FLEETWOOD MAC,FOO FIGHTERS/QOTSA,QUEEN,BLACK SABBATH,TUPAC(before suge knight),ROSE CHRONICLES,STP,GUNS N ROSES(didnt sir axel ego just **** up the perfect band?!?!?),MILLI VANILLI(YEAH RIGHT!!!!!!),LIVING COLOR,and though i think she built her career off of the skin she showed(being MTVs 1st ***** accounts for something)and i dont own anything by her,you have to give her longevity props,madonna(no caps for strippers),BOB MOULD of DUSKER DU(though i didnt much like the band).im assuming debut artists are excluded(flash in the pans suck!!!!!!!!).in closing,im glad this wasnt a popularity poll.no 2 lists are the same....bravo!!!!! |

| sorry,me again.....theres a hell of alot of bands here i never heard of.....id love it if someone can point out their fave songs for me to DL,if its not asking too much.thank you,come again. ps im not into thrash metal or death metal,or any kind of metal.def not into boy bands,broads with contracts only because they shake their a$$,and/or 90% of what is played on radio/MTV.so if your fave song is in any of these catagories,no thx.
