As a mac user with iTunes and an iPod I would definitely want to convert wma to mp3, and have several times using easyWMA. I think many of the files have m$ anti copying thingies on them tho'.

not all of the wma files have copy protection...when you rip wmas you can turn of the copyprotecion.

and all of the files you get off itunes have rottenapples vershon of "anti copy thingies" too...

wma is an ok format....but i prefer wav better

dont get me wrong , im not dissing macs . but i do like the pc better ,i find it EZer to use. but if MS keeps up with its current bullshit i will be buying a mac in the future.

I have never found a tune from the rotten apple music store uk that I wanted to buy. I would have bought plenty off USA but unless you have a US address for you Credit Card you can't do it. Damn stupid ..... Anyway I had a few wma files that I tried to put in a play list and play as I wanted, and I couldn't find a way. iTunes is just perfect .... I'll just repeat your last paragraph with the M$ and Mac the other way round but ... I'll stick with the Mac thanks Take Care :-)

Just a small postscript, lest anyone should get the impression that any tune put on iTunes becomes "protected". Only tunes that come from the apple music store are protected. iTunes is just the application through which you buy them. You can stick anything you like in iTunes provided the format is supportable . no not wma! and the latest thing, programming it to automatically collect and discard when heard your choice of hundreds of podcasts is just amazing. .....end of plug...
