Several times I have downloaded a song. When I launched it, it was not the song, but a raspy male voice doing a monologue that starts, "My fellow Americans, I would once again like to say that I did not have sexual relations....." Where does this "file" come from and how does it keep showing up when you think you're downloading a good file?

Where does this "file" come from and how does it keep showing up when you think you're downloading a good file?

It's spam, if you notice the file size I think you'll find they're all the same(134.4Kb). Do not download files smaller than 1MB(1000KB) in size cause they are all either viruses or spam.

This file is a lot smaller than a music file. Please take care what siz files you download.

You could always preview your download (eg. after 20%) ...this way you'll find out whether it's a good file or spam/crappy sound etc.

Maybe you misunderstood - I'm not looking for the "Clinton" file. I've downloaded what appreared to be normal songs by an artist, and when it downloaded it was the "Clinton" file. I'm assuming someone is taking the names of songs and renaming the Clinton clip with those names - lots of them.

No Zamar ... I didn't missunderstand you. I gave the same answer as 6Pac in a very different way, not at that time having seen his answer as you double posted, but as LOTR says: "It's now one big happy single thread" and no one's confused any more

.. I wanted you to search the forums... not Limewire.... for posts with the word Clinton ... and the posts you found would have told you about the files

These b*****rs can automatically stick any name you search for onto theirwretched clinton file .. so check your file sizes.
