 Yes iTunes can rip to mp3 directly if you choose. The better method is to rip to wav on your hdd, then rip to mp3. You can do that within iTunes but it means mucking around with later deleting your wav files. Not so difficult if well practiced. Just temporarily arrange files by format in iTunes so all the wavs are in the one group. Can be done very quickly!   |

| I'm installing iTunes 7. Because I really like the cd I baught today so I wanted to rip it to my computer to listen to it anytime. |
