Problem with downloads

I'm trying to download all episodes of a show's one particular season... Here's the problem: Some episodes don't have any sound at all... I checked everything, the equalizer of the player, the sound control of the panel, sound control of the computer... everything and those episoded still have no sound.... These episoded are 350-400 mb big and it takes about 8-12 hours to download and after 12 hours I expect a decent thing but i get stuck with picture and no sound.... It's frustrating...

It may be a codec problem. You could try using a different media player, VLC media player is a good one that has the codecs built in. More info here CODECs list for Movies /Alternate players / Video help forums.

Also look up the files with Bitzi Web Lookup before you download them to see if they have been rated.

i downloaded 3 different codecs trying to make it work... still doesnt...

I have no problem with the search. Any file will not download music or video.
From what I can tell I do not have a firewall problem.

Try using the [GSpot Codec Information Appliance] to see what codec you need
and if there are any problems with your existing codecs and filters.

thx all 4 ur concern and advice... a friend recommended a all in one codec pack and i downloaded that and now it works..
