Hy to everybody, i have a little security doubt, i have disabled NetBIOS and NetBeUI in all network adapters (although removing hazardous net shares, improving security, stability and performance, in both, surfing the net and running apps. to the point that Windows loads up 2x times faster) but the thing is that since then, ZoneAlrm is reporting to much more BotNets attacks, should it be normal?
Got answers? |

I guess you are in uncharted waters because I have never heard of anybody deleting/disabling NetBIOS and NetBeUI from their computer. You will have to ask ZoneAlarm themselves if they are aware of any adverse affects, i.e. such as false positives, etc. Let us know how you get on. UK Bob |
