I get an Update Limewire window that pops up everytime I start my computer can I rid this? If so, how?

Which version of LW are you using?
Is it an update window or an upgrade to pro window?

If using LW 5 no options at all except for being notified of betas.
For LW 4, there's options to only be notified of major updates, etc. But since LW 4 is old version, it will still show now anyway. That's in your Tools -> Options.
Present official version is 5.1.4, though there is 5.2.x beta versions available.

Firstly, go to settings in LW and don't allow LW to start on boot.

AFAIK the Update splash is in LW code and no way of getting rid of it unless you update.
