![]() Not trying to sound stupid here, but what would this bill include? Like, i take whey protein and energy supplements and all kinds of vitamins and what not, would this be part of that bill? And what exactly are they trying to do? Tell us what we can and what we can't take? |

![]() The short answer there is that -yes - passage of this bill has the potential to impact everything you've mentioned (and more). This is due to the increased record-keeping requirements for ALL supplement-makers, the additional level of bureaucracy involved and the extremely vague wording of the bill itself (which allows the government unlimited latitude as to their own power over this - IF we allow this bill to pass). You can read the bill itslef here: Search Results - THOMAS (Library of Congress) (it's only one page long) and you'll see the certainty of damage for yourself. I felt so strongly about this that I actually phoned Sen. McCain's office and asked him to withdraw the bill (using the points in the first part of my post above). This kind of stuff is ALREADY being passed in Europe and if we allow it to be passed here, we're ALL going to suffer the consequences.
