Hi Birdy & LOTR Guys, it's so hot in Australia that your bats are dropping dead from the heat: BBC News - Australia extreme heat kills thousand of bats While in the US & Canada is freezing: BBC News - US weather: Travelling the frozen road to Hell And in the UK we are having floods & storms: BBC News - Muchelney on Somerset Levels still cut off by floods BBC News - UK Storms: Flood warnings after damaging tides and rain Could this be the start of global warming? I forgot I left the kettle heating on the stove, definitely a case of kitchen warming lol. The kettle only just survived luckily. I'm getting close to my annual holiday, overdue I think. Lack of sleep seems to shrink my brain little by little, not to mention other unhealthy effects :D |
:whistling::whistling::whistling::whistling:  Bad (Big Carbon Footprint) LOTR :w00t: :whistling::whistling::whistling::whistling: |
Hi UK Bob, LOTR might be melting, as he's getting the hot weather that we had on the weekend. I feel sorry for all playing in the Australian Open  Hope the weather is a little less awful in the UK now. |
Hi Birdy Yes, the weather has got a little bit better in the UK but it's due to turn awful again. As for the boys & girls in the Australian Open, doing excessive activity at 40 - 50 degrees centigrade is more than the human body can endure. UK Bob |
A cold day in Hell Hell, Michigan: 19F today, dropping to 2 tonight (-9 with wind chill), back up to 10 tomorrow. Meanwhile, it's a typical summer day in San Francisco. |
