I just recently strarted using Limewire Basic and the downloads are terribly slow. I can start them at night and let it run all night and have little or no progress. I do have dial up. Would Limewire Pro help or is there anything I can do, or do I need to get high speed internet for this to work. Thank you for your help!!

With a diail-up connection your not gonna get very good speeds. You don't have enough bandwidth. Buying Pro won't help because it's a bandwidth issue and basic can easily max out your bandwidth. That's not to say that there is anything wrong with a dial-up connection, it's just slow.

If you are on dial-up there is no need to buy limewire pro and your speed will always be very slow. the only thing that will help is paying your ISP for a faster connection.

It is possible to use limewire with a dial-up connection but only for smaller files like music. Downloading big files like videos/movies will take ages
