limewire opens my computer window
When i click on the desktop icon for limewire, it opens up the "my computer" screen. What can i do to fix this?

fix the desktop icon by right-clicking on it goto settings or properties or whatever and change the path of it to your limewire installation...
like C:\program files\limewire\2.4.4\limewire.exe or something like it
