 What Operating System? Windows 98SE What version of Java? Java 2 SDK Standard Edition v1.3 What version of LimeWire? v2.4.4 What type of connection? dialup 56k Are you connecting to the internet *before* starting LimeWire? yes Have you tried "telnet router4.limewire.com 6346"? yes, this replies with GNUTELLA OK Do you have a router/firewall/network? no What do you see on the connection tab of LimeWire? lists of IP/port, status "connecting", protocol "0.6" then it all clears Have you read the FAQ? yes Have you searched the forums for something that looks similar to your problem? yes, fault in Oct 2001 said router.limewire.com is faulty - I CANNOT ping this (unknown host) now. I CAN ping router4,connect1,connect2,connect3,connect4 etc  |
