Up until just recently Limewire has worked great for me. Now, when I run Limewire, it won't connect me. I go to "File" and then "Connect", but it does nothing. How can I can connected? Please help.

Since you were able to connect and cannot now - it seems likely that something has changed. What has changed on your system?

Perhaps if you provide a little information:

What Operating System?
What version of Java?
What version of LimeWire?
What type of connection?
Are you connecting to the internet *before* starting LimeWire?
Have you tried "telnet router4.limewire.com 6346"?
Do you have a router/firewall/network?
What do you see on the connection tab of LimeWire?
Have you read the FAQ?
Have you searched the forums for something that looks similar to your problem?
Is there any other information that might conceivably be of some relevance to your problem?

My computer recently crashed and I've d/l again. I search for songs and try to d/l them, but all I get is trying to connect. They don't even start to d/l

It's bad enough that I lost everything - all 1700 hundred songs, but now nothing.

yes, this replies with GNUTELLA OK
Do you have a router/firewall/network?
no
What do you see on the connection tab of LimeWire?
lists of IP/port, status "connecting", protocol "0.6" then it all clears
Have you read the FAQ?
yes
Have you searched the forums for something that looks similar to your problem?
yes, fault in Oct 2001 said router.limewire.com is faulty - I CANNOT ping this (unknown host) now. I CAN ping router4,connect1,connect2,connect3,connect4 etc
