2 days ago, when I opened the program, a window reporting to me "a bug" opened. My computer immediatly froze and I was unable to retrieve or access the info from that pop-up window.

Everytime I open Limewire, it freezes my computer. Sometimes the curser turns into 4 jagged lines and then freezes. Sometimes it remains an arrow.

When I first started using Limewire, I would have a crash every 3rd time that I used it. Now I can't have the program open for more than 20 seconds before a crash.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled Limewire 2 times. I've even tried your different versions (pro vs free Limewire).

I have Limewire Pro 4. I am using cable connection. I have a power Mac G4, OS 9.2

Please help me. I am so frustrated to have paid for a program that will not work.

Hi. I thought we solved these problems with 2.8.5. Is that the version you have?

We are both set up about the same on our Macs so maybe this will help you.

I also had problems with 2.8.x releases. I had to back up with earlier release that worked for me. Try 2.7.13. I seems to work ok for me. I always do a search and get rid of all the old stuff with LimeWire before I install a new one.
