![]() I don't know why, but whatever host i connect to, I get around 90% dropped incoming, while outgoing seems to be fine. I am behind a router, but I have the ports forwarded. The issue persists, whether I have forced IP or not. Has anybody come across that problem? |

![]() That's normal for clients running in leaf mode.

![]() The technical reason for dropping so many messages is that acting as a leaf you will receive many pongs that you won't pass to other hosts, so they are counted as dropped messages. You might very well be seeing less queries than before, because Gnutella is still abused by greedy clients. - LimeWire 2.9.5 (it's still a little buggy, so I don't think it's going to be released before next week) will tackle this problem by dropping all requeries it encounters (that includes of course that you won't be allowed to send any requeries either - all you will be allowed to do is searching manually).

![]() OK, that makes sense. Although it really seems that the dropped I/O column is a bit misleading then. It makes it seem like something was not running properly. An interface issue. regarding the re-queries: does that mean that once a search is done, and a download has begun, limewire will not attempt to find further sources? again, thanks a lot for the info. This is really helpful! |

![]() I don't know yet, - technically it would be possible to send requeries for them. "Add to wishlist" still exists although it will not send any requeries.
