I am very new to all this, so don't use too big of words...I have looked at the last few threads, but none seem relevant to my problem.
basically, i just paid to get Limewire Pro version 2.9.11 this week. Today, I get a "bug" message every time I try to even open it. It never opens. I am connected to the internet via cable and I do have a personal firewall system. but it is set to allow Limewire to get through.
Is the problem at limewire? What's going on? Any help?

What machine and OS are you using?

windows xp on a toshiba laptop

Should be good. I'm on a Mac, OSX, so I can't help. Someone who knows XP might want to know what was in the error message, though.

In the meantime, did you try whatever you do in XP to uninstall/download a fresh copy/ reinstall? You could also try looking in the Installation Windows forum http://www.gnutellaforums.com/forumd...?s=&forumid=45
