when i click the limewire shortcut from my desktop, this msg appears;

"your save folder is not valid. if may have been deletd. you may not have persmission to write to it, or there may be another problem. please choose a different folder."

when i click ok, it pops out a window sayin there is a fatal error.
i have re-installed numerous times, but this problem doesnt go away.
how do i change my save folder if i cant even open limewire??
someone please help me

Go to Start/My Computer/C:/Program Files/LimeWire and click on the limewire Icon in the folder. That should start LimeWire. If it doesn't click on the icon that says uninstall and uninstall Limewire then reinstall it.

Try deleting LW's preferences folder, see points 2 & 3 below

This will revert all the settings within tools > options to default. Providing LW opens, you'll have to reset things afterwards.

hey when i 1st got limewire it woeked fine then when i clicked on the shortcut a message popped up that said "one or more necessary files appear to be invalid" and it shoes me the places my limewire is at ( present) and its in like 20 iff places and i dont kno if thats the porblem that its not popping up?..so what i have to do is reinstall it EVERYTIME and thats myabe why its in so many spots but i dont kno what to do anymore, im tired of downloading it again again and again?! PLEASE HELP ME!
