Question works with max ox 10.1.5 not with max os 10.2.6

Hi,
I have 2 macs connected to the internet using airport. both user osX -my powerbook g4 is using mac os version 10.1.5 and I am able to run limwire perfectly well on this platform.

My other plaform is an imac running mac os version 10.2.6, and on this I get constantly disconnected ( the status goes from green to red immediately).

I have an identical config on both, same ISP, same software installed...

I don't use a hardware firewall. My macosX firewall is disabled and I use a software firewall (norton personal firewall) on both pbook and imac. I have configured it the same on both to allow connections in and out on port 6346...

I read in another thread that perhaps it has something to do with the ip address (use of proxy) since the ipaddress that is broadcast (checked using whatsmyip.com) isn't the same as my actual ipaddress -
however this applies equally well to my pbook running 10.1.5 mac os, where limewire works just fine so I don't think this can be the problem

I also downloaded the he Jum build of Limewire (tip from another thread) - but that didn't help either

Can anyone please help!!!!!

Do you have a hardware or software firewall on the imac? Or do you have a hardware one but have only opened port 6346 to the powerbook?
