I just installed Version 3.2.2 yesterday and everythings cool except that after I search for videos and music a couple of times it just STOPS searching altogether. I keep entering common movie and music titles names and nothing happens! The little green LimeWire logo in the top right corner of the window doesnt spin which means no search is in progress. I disconnect and reconnect to see if it will work again but no success. This happened when I installed it yesterday and i just gave up and stopped using it. Today when I started using it everything was cool for about an hour but then it happened again......whats the prob?????.....thanx

You say after a couple searches. Limewire, in its preferences, only allows a certain number of searches. If your number was 5, then after the fifth search, you would be unable to search again.

Go to your preferences in Limewire and set this number higher.

actually thats not the problem because all that does is allow u to do more than five SIMULTANEOUS searches which just lets me have more than five search tabs at the top of the screen. Actually my problem is that when i search for video after about 10 tries, it just stops searching all together....i dont get ANY search tabs at the top of the screen and like i said the little greem lemon at the top right doesnt even move at all which means it not even ATTEMPTING to search, just like when the butterfly moves using MSN explorer when u are waiting for a page to load....nevertheless i tried what u said and it didnt work....it seems to mostly happen when i search for video cuz i can search for music and other stuff for a lot longer.....any other suggestions...

Try uninstalling it and wiping all the preferences and everything Limewire from your system and reinstall it.

A word of advice,

You should install the latest version of LimeWire, version 3.4.7 which is available at www.limewire.com.
