another red light, green light, red light
I don't have a firewall that i know of, because i've used kazaa before, and i don't think i have a proxy server, but my limewire won't connect for more than a second! please help!

You do have to wait for LW to connect which takes a few minutes.
Going to file>connect will try to force a connection to the gnutella network, this will almost never work. I have found that it works best to connect around 7 to 11 PM. Or you could try to restart your computer. deepblue
