![]() That's right. I just downloaded the latest[?] version of LimeWire. I am running it on Windows 95. I know my internet people allow file sharing, because I had Kazaa up and running before my computer crashed, but since my compy did crash, I no longer have Internet Explorer 5, which is necessary for Kazaa to run, and it is "obsolete" according to Microsoft, so I can't download it again. So I download LimeWire, and it all works fine, just great, but then it's not connected when I start. So I click connect, and I get connected for about 2 seconds, and then get kicked off again. I went into the advanced options and tried activating the "force IP" option, I read somewhere around here that that's supposed to help. But all that did was make the time I stayed connected from 2 seconds to about a half a second. I don't have a firewall that I know of, so I don't know what the problem could be. Help please? o_0 jimm |
